Who Are Essence…?
Essence is a network of qualified Person Centred therapists practicing in Manchester and the North West. Initial assessments for referrals to Essence are done through Essence Director and co-ordinator, Ashley Fletcher
Ashley Fletcher: Dip. Couns. Accred. Cert. Supervision, MBACP, UKRCP (*)
Ashley has spent 20 years working in the NHS and Voluntary Sector managing community based services, particularly with gay and lesbian communities, refugees and asylum seekers and with people living with HIV.
He is a published author on the Person Centred approach, has been community trainer for 20 years and a qualified practicing psychotherapist since 2003. Currently, in addition to managing and practicing with Essence, Ashley develops disability services and works with survivors of torture. He is also a Member of the Directory of Pink Therapists.
